Meetings
Association meetings are held several times a year at different locations in North or South Carolina . Meetings are usually roundtable discussions about a topic of interest or an APRA Virtual Seminar. Members are encouraged to host meetings and seminars.
The Board meets two or three times each year for planning purposes. Members can have access to board meeting minutes upon request. Contact LaDonna Lindgren at llindgren@tnc.org or 919-403-8558.

APRA Online Curriculum
Members are encouraged to host an APRA Virtual Seminar . APRA-Carolinas will pay the registration fee to APRA International, providing that the host provides space for additional members and non-members to participate. Attendees are asked to pay $5-$10 per seminar, payable to APRA-Carolinas at the time of the event.
Hosts are required to provide a room with a conference phone and Internet connection and screen. They are also asked to provide directions to members and collect the registration fee from participants (though it is payable to APRA-Carolinas). The host is not required to provide lunch or snacks, but if they do, that cost could be reimbursed - please discuss with John Scales or Tracey Martin beforehand.
If your organization would like to host a seminar, please contact John Scales or Tracey Martin as soon as you are able so that we may advertise and get the word out to our members and others who may be interested.
Publications
APRA-Carolinas produces a newsletter, The Chronicle , which is distributed to members about four times a year. Questions and submissions for the newsletter should be directed to APRA-Carolinas Secretary LaDonna Lindgren of The Nature Conservancy.
Listserv
APRA-Carolinas maintains a listserv for members which is primarily used for announcements NC/SC researchers, including APRA-Carolinas activity information. New members of APRA-Carolinas will automatically be added to the listserv if they provided an email address when they joined.
